The Powerheart G5 AED with Intellisense CPR Device Semi-Automatic Defibrillator is a complete AED solution giving users of all abilities the confidence to act in the event of a Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA).
Users are given assurance to act at each critical step of a rescue. The user is clearly instructed to deliver the shock at the press of a button - should it be needed.
The unit has an IP rating of IP55, can withstand a drop of 1.22m and has been tested to military standards.
The Powerheart® G5 comes with pre-connected, interchangeable, non-polarised pads (that can be placed in either position on the body). Clear graphical directions show where to place the pads and pads feature an easy-pull tab for positioning on the patient. Pads can be quickly interchanged if needed. The adult pads included have a two year lifespan.
Clear, real time instructions come in the form of easy to follow, loud voice prompts and graphical and text prompts provide extra help in loud or chaotic situations.
Features Intellisense™ CPR (ICPR) technology to monitor CPR chest compressions, providing rescuers with distinct corrective audible and visual prompts: "Press Slower", "Press Faster", "Press Softer", and "Press Harder and Fully Release".
Fast shocks are then administered (typically) within 10 seconds post CPR. The defibrillator will customise the energy level needed depending on analysis of each patient. If more than one shock is necessary it will increase shock energy to a suitably higher level.
Shock and ECG rescue data is easily viewable and also downloadable via PC or USB using the AED Manager software.
Rescue Ready® technology self tests on pads, battery and internal circuitry daily, weekly and monthly to ensure the defibrillator is always ready for use and audible warning alerts sound if any issues are found.
Change from primary to secondary language with the push of a button, without delaying or interrupting the rescue.
