PAcT kits are designed to save lives in traumatic emergencies such as stabbings, road traffic collisions, falls, and tragically sometimes, terror attacks.
The kit contains military-grade wound dressings, tourni-keys, and other vital components.
The kit with Tourni-key is contained within a red bag. A grab handle makes it easy to carry to the casualty and it is marked 'Public Access Trauma (PAcT) First Aid Kit' for easy identification. The kit also contains clear written and visual instructions which make them easy for anyone to use, regardless of their level of training.
The work is part of an ongoing partnership between St John Ambulance and citizenAID, working alongside colleagues from the National Counter Terrorism Security Office (NaCTSO).
